Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read. It records page views, approximate location at city level, device type and referrer. We do not use it to identify individuals.
Site search
Search happens in your browser, against a file we build at publish time. We record the search term, how many results it returned and the page you searched from. We do this for one reason: a search that returns nothing tells us what we have failed to cover. We do not attach searches to a person.
Contact form
The name, email address and message you submit are emailed to us so we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list from the contact form, and we do not sell or share what you send.
Affiliate links
Product links carry an Amazon tracking tag so purchases are attributed to us. Amazon's own privacy policy governs what happens once you arrive there.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies. Blocking them in your browser will not break anything on this site.
